EXTENSION OF REGISTRATION FOR STUDIES FOR THE 2019/2020 ACADEMIC YEAR

This is to inform all students and the entire University Community that the Office of Deputy Vice Chancellor- Academic, Research and Consultancy issued a notice to close registration for studies for the  2019/2020 academic year on 29th November, 2019. This was in line with Reg. No. 5.6 of General University Regulations and Guidelines for Undergraduate Studies 2019 and 3.4 of the Postgraduate Studies Regulations and Guidelines 2019. However, the University Management has considered various requests to extend time for registration.


Having considered the above, the University Management has extended registration time up to 19th December, 2019. All Unregistered Students are advised to complete registarion within the extention time and that there shall be no further registration thereafter.
Students who Will fail to register under the extended time are advised to do the followings:-

1. May seek permission for conditional/Partial registration whereas they will be issued with conditional registration letter and sign a special agreement with the University available online www.udom.ac.tz before they are allowed to attend classes. Conditional/Partial registered students shall be allowed to attempt tests and assignments but shall not be allowed to sit for final University Examination until they dully complete all requirements for registration for Studies at the University of Dodoma for the 2019/2020 academic year.

2. May flexibly seek permission to postpone studies on Medical, Financial and Social grounds until  2020/2021 academic year as provided by Reg. No. 9 (9.1-9.11) of the General University  Regulations and Guidelines for Undergraduate Studies 2019 and 6.2 Postgraduate Studies Regulations and Guidelines 2019.
All students are advised to abide by the University Regulations and Rules that guide teaching and Learning without fail.
